chris jordan: picturing excess

In this video from the 2008 TED conference, Seattle artist Chris Jordan shows and describes some of his photographic works, which aim to translate mind-numbing statistics about our massively wasteful cultural choices, to visuals that evoke emotion and visceral response, that in turn wake up us to the question "how do we change?" and especially, "how do I change?'
